The GE Tec 3 Cagemount Vaporizer is temperature and flow compensated so that its output remains relatively constant despite cooling due to vaporization and variations in inlet flow. A single control dial with a concentration scale calibrated in percent of anesthetic agent vapor per total volume (V/V) is employed to set the desired concentration of the anesthetic agent.
